" faith"---yeah. no proof for most of what they think they believe.
i have read the site with great interest over the last few weeks.
some interesting stuff thats for sure.. i have left the jehovah's witnesses (was almost going to say the 'truth') for some time now.
i was one of the lucky ones that was baptised then faded, no humiliating disfellowshipping but nonetheless was very hard to get myself out.

if you walked up to any jw and said "i just spoke to satan" they would think you lost your mind.
while that reaction makes perfect sense in the real world, in wt land it doesn't add up.
here's why i say this -jw's are supposed to believe the following:.
who would have though that if i click "refresh my avatar" i would turn into this little shriveled amoeba with 5 legs.
i want my old avatar back.
there are many things wrong with the world, many injustices and crimes committed.
what if we could stop one of them?
wouldn't it make the world a slightly better place?

as most people know, mcdonald's derives the principal part of its earnings, not from greasy food, but from real estate.. they buy property, then, in addition to charging franchisees for the right to use their name, they charge them rent for the building sitting on corporately-owned real estate.. this business model yields well over $20 billion per year in gross revenue.. could this be the idea behind the soon-to-come revamp of the rbcs into ldcs?
the wts will purchase property and charge its "franchisees" (the congregations) a fee to use the building on the site?.
of course, it wouldn't be called a "franchise fee" or even "rent", it would be named something like a "voluntary contribution to support kingdom interests" or some such folderol.. any "non-performing" congregations would get shut down and/or merged, and the property sold.
here--on the isle of wight--UK......the Ryde branch is right next door to MacDonalds---you have to drive-thru the McD car park to get to it. this photo is in the McD car park:
so i started dating on the internet in june and have met some nice guys.
i have put in a few recent posts that i have a boyfriend and wanted to give an update.
things haven't worked out sadly.. i was seeing him for a couple of months we were having fun and then things tailed off after christmas.
Every single person I met online was just looking to hook up, one night stand or "friends with benefits" kind of relationships
ha--i dont know what dating site that was---but here in the UK most of the " normal" dating sites are mainly occupied by women seeking a proper relationship. the guys are opposite--looking for casual dating. and half of them are married players.
is it possible for the site to display which members are currently logged in at any time ?
There are normally between 50 and 100 active sessions
-that is interesting---i had no idea it was that many---in a way that answers your question Simon--what would showing or not showing particular names tell us?
